This Privacy Policy explains how Loopsware S.A. (“Loopsware,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use Recipy, our meal planning app, and this website (together, the “Services”). Recipy is built in Guanajuato, Mexico.

By using Recipy or this website, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Who we are

Recipy is provided by Loopsware S.A. We plan meals around the grocery store you choose, your budget, and nutrition information shown in the app. We do not sell your personal information.

2. Information we collect

Recipy is designed so you can start without creating an account. We collect only what we need to run and improve the Services:

• App preferences. Store choice, budget, servings, meal plans, shopping lists, and similar settings you enter so Recipy can build your week.
• Device and usage data. Device type, operating system, language, app version, crash logs, and general usage events. This helps us keep Recipy stable and useful.
• Purchase data. If you buy Recipy or in-app features through the App Store, Apple processes the payment. We may receive non-sensitive purchase status (for example, whether a subscription is active). We do not receive your full card number.
• Website data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) when you browse this site.

Recipy is not a medical device. Nutrition figures are informational. We do not collect health-insurance or clinical records.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide meal plans, recipes, costs, and shopping lists
• Remember your store, budget, and household settings
• Operate, secure, and debug the Services
• Understand which features help people cook (in aggregated form)
• Comply with law and enforce our terms

We do not use your meal plans to sell ads to third parties.

4. How we share information

We share information only when needed:

• Service providers that host, analyze, or help us operate Recipy, under contracts that limit how they use data
• Apple for App Store distribution, receipts, and device services
• Legal requests if required by law, or to protect Recipy, our users, or the public
• Business transfers if Loopsware is involved in a merger, sale, or similar event, with notice where the law requires it

Grocery stores shown in Recipy are used to plan meals and lists. We do not sell your shopping list to those retailers unless you later choose a feature that clearly says so.

5. Storage and retention

Some preferences stay on your device. If we store data on our servers, we keep it only as long as needed to provide Recipy, comply with law, resolve disputes, and keep the Services secure. You can delete local app data by deleting Recipy from your device.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please keep your device locked and updated.

7. Children

Recipy is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it where required.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can also limit analytics in your device settings where available.

To make a request, write to Loopsware S.A. in Guanajuato, Mexico, identifying Recipy and the email or Apple ID you use with the app if you have one. We may need to verify your request before we act on it.

9. International transfers

Loopsware is based in Mexico. If you use Recipy from another country, your information may be processed in Mexico or in countries where our providers operate. Those places may have different data-protection laws than your own.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy. If a change is material, we will provide a more prominent notice when required.
